Today, Thursday 4th March 2021, we are celebrating World Book Day. It is a day when we celebrate the children’s favourite authors, illustrators and books.
As we are unable to welcome everyone on-site at the moment due to COVID restrictions, we have planned a variety of activities everyone can access, both at home and at school.
Today we are having an “Author's Day”. We are celebrating this exciting day by making links with four special authors. All four of our authors have left us personal messages in their videos. Click on the names below to see their messages, stories and workshops.
The award-winning children's poet and author Paul Cookson will deliver a workshop and read some of his humorous poems via a video link. Paul is the author of many collections of modern and very funny poems.
