Ladybirds
We had a really great time finding out about and celebrating Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee. We took part in our first whole school assembly finding out all about our Queen and her 70 years on the throne. The teachers were all really impressed with our singing, signing and dance moves. It was really wonderful to see everyone all together.
We all looked great so of course we had to take special photos to commemorate this wonderful occasion.
During Art Week we all became artists. We looked at different portraits of the Queen and chose one to recreate using pastels. During our special Jubilee Celebration day we all got to see each others art work from across the school. It was like we were at a portrait gallery!
We had a great day and were so lucky that the rain stayed away. This meant we were able to enjoy a Jubilee picnic outside on the field. We really did have a great day!
